How Does It Work?
Step-by-Step:
- Land pacels Minting : land admin creates a digital map of land with landCode for coordinates and ipfs url for land layout picture.
- Ownership Assignment:land admin The record is assigned to the rightful owner.
- Title deed Minting: land owners mint an ERC1155 Token for digital land title deed.
- Proof Creation: It becomes visible on the blockchain explorer.
- Transfer (if needed): Owner digitally signs the asset to another person.
- Permanent Record: Every change is recorded, timestamped, and visible.

The Land Guard solution combines blockchain, decentralized storage, modern web and mobile frontends, and integrations with government systems to deliver a secure, auditable land registry.
- Blockchain: Avalanche / Ethereum-compatible smart contracts for tamper-proof deed registration and smart-transfer logic.
- Smart Contracts: ERC-1155 (multi-token) pattern to represent parcels, deeds and related rights efficiently; smart contracts include validation and community-approval flows.
- Storage: IPFS (e.g., Pinata) for decentralized, content-addressed storage of deed scans and metadata.
- Backend: Node.js + Express with Ethers.js (or web3) for blockchain interactions, API layers, and integration adapters.
- Frontend: React for the web DApp and React Native for mobile apps (citizens and officials), with multi-language support (French + local languages).
- GIS: OpenStreetMap/Leaflet + QGIS for parcel mapping and coordinate linking.
- Integration: API integration with government digital ID systems (WURI) and SyC@D cadastre where available.
- Devops & Hosting: Testnet deployments for development (Avalanche Fuji / Polygon Mumbai / Ethereum Sepolia), and hosting on platforms like Vercel/Heroku for the DApp and backend.
